The popular Cornish festival of St Piran’s Day in Redruth will return on Saturday 4th March 2023, 10am – 3pm. Here is the plan for the day:
10am until 3pm – The Town Market – food, crafts and engagement stalls on Fore Street, Green Lane, Market Way and Market Hall
10am until 3pm – Vintage Vehicles on Alma Place
10am until 3pm – Children’s Carousel on Fore Street
10am until 3pm – FREE St Piran’s Day Printing at Kresen Kernow
10am until 1pm – Hellfire Kernow badge making workshop with Golden Tree in Redruth Library

10am – The grand unveiling of the refurbished Murdoch House with the Town Mayor. The House will be open all day, with light refreshments, storytelling, film shows and interactive exhibits. 10am – Bagas Crowd at The Miner Statue 11am – Parade sets off from Lemins Court (behind the Regal) led by Redruth Town Band and with Penkevyll the Oss 11.30am (approx) – The Trelawny Shout at The Miner Statue 12pm – Parade finishes back at Lemins Court 12pm – Red River Singers (After the parade) at The Miner Statue 12:30pm – Raffidy Dumitz in St Rumon’s Gardens 12.30pm – Maids of Melody in Market Hall 1pm – Redruth Amateur Operatic Society at The Miner Statue 1pm – Ground based circus skills workshop outside the Regal from 1pm until 3pm, and stilt walkers around town 1.15pm – Raise the Ruth in St Rumon’s Gardens 1.15pm – Ingleheart Choir in Market Hall 2pm Riverside at in St Rumon’s Gardens 2pm – Red River Singers in Market Hall 2pm – Redruth Festival Band and Tatters Morris at The Miner Statue

After Dark
7pm until 11pm Saturday 4th March – St Piran’s Eve. Thrashup at the Redruth Drapery featuring the fantastic Hanterhir and Mothen. Get your tickets in advance via Facebook – search for Redruth Drapery, £6pp
9pm Saturday 4th March – Rudi’s Message at St Rumon’s Club
