The Helston St Piran’s Lantern Parade 2026 will take place on Saturday, 7 March 2026, at Coronation Park and the Boating Lake, celebrating Cornish heritage with a procession of handcrafted lanterns, live music, and community spirit. Live music begins at 5:00 pm, with the parade setting off at 6:30 pm.
Meet the City of Lights artists and help to build a large lantern for Helston’s Lantern Parade 2026. This is an open community workshop, inviting you to meet our artistic team and take part in a large lantern build for Helston’s St Piran’s Lantern Parade on Saturday 7th March 2026 at Helston Coronation Park and Boating Lake. Everyone is welcome, so bring your family and friends for some fun making.
This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 8 years old. All children and young people under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All skills and abilities welcome. It is FREE and includes all materials. Please book a space for all people attending.
