ST PIRAN FESTIVITIES 2020
BODMIN
Thursday 5th March
St Piran's Celebration at Bodmin
10.45am - Assemble Lower Bore Street, Bodmin outside the old Library
11.00am - Celebrations will commence with a St Piran Parade from the Library on Lower Bore Street, down through the town to Mount Folly, stopping at the Flamank Stone –invited dignitaries will address the gathered crowd, followed by the children singing and dancing.
11.30am - 11.40am The children will then be escorted to St Petroc’s Church where they will present their own contributions to mark St Piran’s Day, performing Cornish plays and songs.
12.45pm Lunch for children in St. Petroc’s Church

St Piran's Day Walk in Bude
St Pirans's Day Procession starting from Bude Surf Life Saving Club, Summerleaze Beach, Bude, Cornwall.
Follow the piper across Summeleaze Downs to the lock gates then returning to the Bude Life Saving Club. Singing led by local Cornish Group An Scaith. Everyone Welcome. Bring your flags! Free to all.
The Barrel at Bude will be taking part in the Trelawny Shout (see the bottom of the page), which will follow the procession.

Solempnita Gool Peran Aberfala
10.00 to 11.40am - a celebration of St Piran with a Furry Dance by local school children and musicians, all are welcome to join in or line the streets to watch the procession. The parade will leave from the Moor, Webber Street, High Street, Brewery Yard, Prince of Wales Pier and on to Lower Killigrew Street.

The Truro St Piran's Day Parade 2020 will feature a new tune commissioned from Russell Pascoe. It's a dance tune which will provide music for all the schools which are coming along to perform through the streets. As many musicians as possible are very welcome.
