The Mass Setting ‘Oferen an Dasserghyans’ – ‘Mass of the Resurrection’ – will be celebrated again in St Michael’s Church, Newquay Parish Church on Sunday 11th October at 6 pm. After its wonderful launch in Truro Cathedral in June, this will be the first occasion when it will be used in a parish church. So it will be an important occasion, both for the church in Cornwall and for the language. All the service will be in Cornish, with English translation beside it for people who don’t speak Cornish yet. Come and enjoy it!
There will also be a practice of the music in St Michael’s Church on Friday 9th at 7 pm, for those who wish to be familiar with the music before the service.
