Friday 3rd March.
10.00am. Civic Parade from the Castle Green to the Town Square. After an introduction by the Town Crier and welcome by the Mayor, the children will sing and then dance the Lanson Dance.
An Dons Lanson was composed and choreographed by a local contemporary dance teacher Gemma Kempthorne working with local schools. The original piece of music was composed by award winning local composer Simon Dobson to accompany the dance.
There will be poetry, singing and more dancing before the final Trelawny and the parade returns to the Castle Green.
Sunday 5th March.
11.00am to 5.30pm Launceston Town Hall.
Celebration of all things Cornish. Language, music, dance, art and craft. (See attached poster)
6.00pm. Join us for the Flag Ceremony at Lanson Castle and process to the Bell Inn for Cornish music, song, dance and ale. 25th year!
