Successful candidates in this year’s Kesva examinations were presented with their certificates at a ceremony at Lys Kernow on Saturday 26th. September. The Kesva has been organising examinations for more than sixty years and the awards ceremony was established to acknowledge publicly the success of candidates.
Mark Mitchley, examinations officer, introduced the event and presented the certificates together with Jenefer Lowe, Grand Bard of Gorsedh Kernow, Dr. Ken George, chair of Kesva an Taves Kernewek and Mark Trevethan, principal culture lead of Cornwall Council.
There are four grades of examination : first (42 successful candidates), second (24), third (10) and fourth (10).
