The Committee who run St Piran in Penwith events each year and have done since 2005, would like to invite any Bards, especially those local to Penwith to join us all on March 5th in a short Procession beginning at 10am at the top of Causewayhead in Penzance.
Bards would join the dignitaries at the head of the Procession. They will then be joined by the Golowan Band and school musicians accompanying dancers from 12 local Primary and Secondary schools performing St Piran Furry along the route to Morrab Gardens.
Here Trelawney is sung by all before returning to St John’s Hall for a cup of tea/coffee and saffron buns. The event is over by 11.45am.
We would be delighted to see you and welcome you with a rosette upon arrival.
If you are able to join us please respond to Jakki Williams (Bard Myrgh Lulyn)
