Gorsedh Kernow celebrated a range of talents and projects in Cornwall in a special ceremony for the adult winners during the Esedhvos festival in Bodmin on Friday 4th. September this year. Almost all awardees were able to come and everyone had a really good evening. The Awards scheme will soon be open to new entries for 2007. Please re-visit for details.

Simon Margetts. Nominated because of his determination in promoting wrestling andrevitalising the sport, with a full calendar of events for 2026 includingdemonstrations and tournaments from April to September.
Simon was also chosen because of his commitment to preserving the heritageof the sport and sharing this across Cornwall.
