The Institute of Cornish Studies, in collaboration with the Horizon Europe–funded Revive project, is pleased
to announce a joint seminar on the revitalisation of the Cornish language. Taking place on Friday 24 April
2026, 10:00–16:00, this free, day-long event will bring together scholars and early career researchers to
explore current research, policy, and practice in language revitalisation. Speakers will include academics
from the ICS and the Revive project, alongside PhD students working on related topics. The seminar will
provide an interdisciplinary forum for discussion, knowledge exchange, and future collaboration. The
seminar will take place in Peter Lanyon Lecture Theatre 5 but it is also possible to attend online.
