Shot on a beautifully crisp, frosty morning at New Year. We grabbed a free day and an excellent forecast to get to the moors early enough for sunrise. Just as colour was starting to flood the sky, we spotted this cottage with a light in the window, right in front of the outline of Rough Tor. Surrounded by the great, wild expanse of the moor, it shone out wonderfully warm and comforting.
