In May this year, the Grand Bard, John Bolitho, flew to Australia to take part in the 16th Assembly of Cornish Bards in Australia, at Moonta, South Australia - the 19th robed gathering of Bards in Australia since the first Proclamation led by Trevanyon (Denis Trevanion) in May, 1983. Cornish Bards gather in Canada
 

In July this year, the Grand Bard, John Bolitho (Jowan an Cleth), attended the four-day conference of the Cornish American Historical Society (CAHS) near Toronto.

The picture shows the Grand Bard with guests of honour at the Bowmanville Bardic Ceremony: Corporal Leroy, of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and Charlie Trim, Deputy Mayor of Clarington.
