St Piran’s Day 2022 – Urban Kelt Sessions, Newquay

Urban Kelt Celtic Coffee Shop – Gwerthji Koffi Keltek

The Celtic Lounge, Celtic Coffee Shop at Newquay Museum, is using its intimate setting within the museum to showcase local musicians and spoken word artists. Recently extended to allow larger audience numbers Urban Kelt will be hosting artists primarily working on Cornish and Celtic themes as well as speakers providing illustrated talks on Cornwall’s history and cultural heritage. They aim to film some of these performers to include as part of the virtual St Piran’s Day festival on Sunday 6th, which also creates a legacy for worldwide access and future use.

Event by Blystra Arts. Funded by the Welcome Back Fund which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
