This year the Gorsedh Conference has been organised in association with the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies and the Cornwall Heritage Trust.
The conference will take place at the Hall for Cornwall, which is well worth visiting after its transformation. There is a programme of talks on the inportant subject of intangible cultural heritage, which Gorsedh Kernow has had at the forefront of its thinking for some time. In addition to the conference talks, there will be a range of stands from organisations concerned with different aspects of intangible culture. We hope to be showing films over the lunchbreak.
The Hall is not far from the station or bus station and there are a range of carparks in the vicinity. Tea and coffee are included in the registration fee of £10. The Hall will be opening their café at lunchtime, or you may either go out to purchase lunch or bring your own packed lunch to eat at the Hall. The café, auditorium and bar area will be available for your use – we have the entire building for the day.
